It has been an amazing week. I’ve barely had enough time to eat and sleep!
Yesterday was the monthly meeting of the New York City Board Game Play Test Group at the Burrough of Manhattan Community College, and I brought a 3rd version of Pipefitters for testing. Niko and Clay gave some great suggestions for revisions – thanks, guys. Look for 3D water towers in the next prototype!
Over the past few days, we have had to work hard to assemble more copies of Zombie Attack and Deer Hunter 2050. Demand for Deer Hunter 2050 was especially ahead of production so that we actually had to ship a partial order and back order the game for about a week until we could make more.
Preparations for Toy Fair continue. We are borrowing booth fixtures from our friends at Mazeology. We have most of our booth volunteers scheduled and have to train them to demo our games. Our catalogs should be arriving this week just in time. The recent production runs should mean that we have enough samples and sales copies for both Toy Fair and Dreamation immediately following.
And probably most amazing of all is interest from Triangle Finance in helping us with some major funding that should insure the re-release of 4th Corner, Zombie Attack, and Deer Hunter 2050, and the releases of Samsara, Star Hopper, and Master Spy. Watch for other exciting changes and other product announcements here!
